Durham or Newcastle? University or degree itself?
So I'm torn. I have offers from Durham and Newcastle for biomedical science but I don't know what am employer would value more - the universities rank (Durham is Durham after all) or a degree from a university whose facilities and focus on research are second to none. I mean, Durham is more associated with English and law and the humanities isn't it? I haven't a clue which has better teaching. Has anybody got any experience from either university?
    Thanks
