    Best comedians/stand ups?
I'm in need of a laugh - work is getting to me and stress is setting in. Can anyone give me their favourite stand up pieces/ favourite comedians out there? I'm game for anything!

Al murray - publandlord, it's just hilarious, mature, stereotypical comedy.

I like witty dark humor so for me it's got to be Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle!

    Personal favorite

Also if you like Frankie Boyle / Jimmy carr type humor deffinately check out Anthony Jeselnik , in the donald trump / charie sheen roast he will joke about literally anything

So many hate filled people on here disliking things for no reason!

I really enjoy observational humour, so I would recommend Michael Mcintyre and Micky Flanagan.

Agreed. Al Murray is a terrible comedian. Same with Frankie Boyle -- he's funny if you've not seen him before but his constant 'I'm going to say something really shocking' style can only be used so many times before it becomes tedious. His humour isn't particularly witty it's just the shock value.

I like Dave Chappelle, he does some really good observations about race which I find amusing.

I just don't talk about him unless someone asks about comedy (though I listen to podcasts of his old radio shows far too often- have 'em all on my ipod).
Apropo of Noel Fielding and youtube- have you seen the clip about oblong? Or "shall we be married on the morrow?" I used to watch old clips of his standup all the time with one of my friends, we could actually recite whole parts.

Mind if I give you a tip first? Breath. i know it's typical, but sometimes it makes people laugh too.
Funny things... There's these shows, "IT Crowd" it actually helped me in some stressful situations (and I've had a lot honestly.)and "Home Improvement." Bob Envigal is a hilarious Southern US comedian. Jon Pinette is another good comedian haha I couldn't stop laughing.

Surprised noone has mentioned Lee Evans yet.

Russell Peters is also hilarious but a tad bit racist.
