    Harrow School for Sixth Form
I'm keen to change schools and try boarding for sixth form - can anyone at this school tell me what it's like for students joining at sixth form? Are new students generally well accepted or are there problems fitting in etc? Thanks guys

Are you sure that it isn't too late to apply? Or do you already hold an offer?

Anyway, from what I know (I don't go there), you'll feel homesick at first but you'll get used to it eventually. It's not hard to settle in because the guys are welcoming and friendly. It's important to talk to people and to get to know them and you'll be alright; confidence is key.

Hey thanks. I'm applying next year. Do you go to a similar sort of school and have mates at Harrow? The school and facilities look great just wondering if it's hard to fit in in the sixth form.

    Hi

I applied last year and have a place to start in September

I personally know quite a few people there from when I was younger, but because I haven't started I can't tell you how easy it is to settle in. I'm sure you'll find nice people who you share the same interests with, inside and outside of your house. Also there are lots of clubs and activities to help on the social side.

I went to boarding school for 4 odd years and was only homesick at the start, and at the second school (allllll the way in South Africa). I'll be 3000 miles from my parents, and usually its the kids who see theirs ever weekend that feel it a lot more.

    Hope this helped
