Re: Going home for WeekendsI go home every few weeks really because home is 300 miles away!
In my first term i went home twice, once because it was freshers and i was homesick.
the 2nd time was my brothers birthday.
My 2nd term is also twice, the first time i had a week off and wanted free food
And the 2nd id just got out of hospital, and no money and was pretty stressed, however i got bored after a day and a half so went back to uni
Next term i wont be going back at all, because the weather and beach will be too good too miss! :P -

Re: Going home for WeekendsJust for a few days in reading weeks and a portion of the holidays. I love seeing my parents, but I have hardly any friends around at home - maybe 3 or 4 or who I actually want to see - so I tend to start missing uni life pretty quickly. A lot of my friends here don't go home much, or don't go home at all so I'm often missing out on stuff if I'm away. Probably heading down overnight on Sunday to surprise my mum though
