4, probably a mixture of birth and adopted children. Child birth and pregnancy and the post pregnancy effects will all be difficult but the joy children give makes it worth it.

Right now I can see myself either having no children, or biting the bullet and eventually giving in and having a wee family if my life gets a bit dull (Somehow the number of 3 kids always comes up)

Sometimes I feel I don't want any children because I don't like feeling tied down, but other times I see little babies and happy families and grandparents and I wouldn't mind that either.

If/When I have kids, I definitely only want two children (two boys preferably)

2 - they won't be lonely, they'll learn to share, they're likely to have a best friend, but won't be part of "ganging up" like there would be if there were 3+ of them.

4 Preferably at similar ages. I have two siblings one who is 5 years older than me and one who is 7 years older than me and I don't feel particularly close to either of them. My boyfriend has 7 siblings and they're all really close. I'd love my babies to have that

I think I'd like two - all my friends who are only children say they wish they had siblings, and I'd probably go crazy with three kids, not to mention I think there's financial benefits to having less children.

Saying that, I'm the middle child between a brother and a sister, and I think it's had its benefits.

I've said 3, but it really depends on my life situation at the time.
At any rate, I definitely want more than one. I'm one of 5 children, and having a big family is amazing. I'd hate for my children to miss out on that kind of experience.

Maybe 6 as long I can financially support them and no doubt I'd love them all the same

I'd want four. And I'd like to have a set of twins (included in the four). But I won't vote, since I'm not une fille.

either none at all or 2... i'm an only child and i've always wondered what it would be like to have a sibling, but i think 3+ is a bit excessive haha

Two is enough for me, one child to play with the other.

Re: Women/girls, how many children would you like?
Id like four or five children if affordable.
Preferably all healthy girls like me with my sisters, there was three of us. Im a very girly-girl type, i love dressing up and things, id love to see what my future daughters would be like, whether like me girly girl, emo, casual, tomboy, chav etc.

    Staggered over a 3-4 year age gap between them, like aged 4, 8, 12, 16, 20.
Full time mom with a wealthy loving husband.
    (in a perfect world).
