Anybody moving in to Mill Point accommodation 2012/13?
I have a place at MMU this year and after looking round Mill Point accommodation I think it's definitely the place I want to go. Is anyone else thinking of moving in this year also and does anyone live there and could tell me what it's really like?
    Thankyou!

there really nice halls and people tend to be a bit more grown up than in mmu's own halls( but still love a flat party haha) . Ive just booked my place for 2012/13, its will be my second year there after us all moving into a house fell through.

The rooms are much nicer than the likes of cambridge halls, but they can be very picky about how clean you keep the place and returning your deposit at the end of the year

Other than that you should have a wicked first year !

Lived there this year (moved out on the 14th of July) and moving back there in September as I liked the place so much.

The other residents this year were decent, and lots going on. The staff were'nt too bad either... fair play they're picky but I suppose if you trash your flat you're gonna pay right? (My flat charges havent come through yet but I'm looking at a fairly substantial bill lol).

Anything else you wanna know just inbox me on here or something.

I'm moving into Mill Point, and i hope people don't trash the place as it's expensive enough as it is! Still i don't want it to be a boring experience, i like to party, but i don't like retards who sick everywhere and make loads of noise.

Nah you get charged as a flat for the living room, then individually for bedrooms. However if you use bluetack on the walls, you get charged for that :/ Think its 6 quid per wall per person in the living room, and 25-30 a wall in bedroom. But ye itcan be quite loud at times, but its student halls... you have to expect and accept that.
