Yeah it's a bummer... I still have to have a bunch of meetings with people I think to work out what I can and can't do. My uni are least very sympathetic to the fact that I don't want to go home, and I have a counsellor up here now, so going home wouldn't make much sense (and this provides a brilliant excuse to my parents too ).

I say we want to set a date when after that date, a location is decided. Then we can discuss dates, and for those travelling, discuss travel plans and accommodation.

Don't mind London but it is too far. Liverpool or Manchester- and it is central. People from all over the country can get to it easily.

I wouldn't mind too much if it was in Birmingham, since I feel I need to visit more parts of the country anyway, but it'd mean I'd have to splash out a bit on travel and accommodation, and I don't know how well I can do for money at the moment. My preference is London though just because it's easier for me.

Looking at the poll results so far, it doesn't look like there's much overlap between Birmingham and London people. Make sense to anyone that we could have two meets? We could then come up with some kind of competitive points scoring system, in order to see which one comes out on top.

So what dates are the easter holidays? If we want people to be able to go we need to decide dates etc.. soon, so people have enough time to buy cheap travel tickets etc.. The price gets stupid closer to the time. I am happy for Birmingham or London, if there are 2 on different days I would probably come along to both

Well Easter Sunday is the 8th this year, so I'd expect most people have a week before and a week after as the break - making something like the 2nd to the 16th?

My easter holidays are the 23rd of March to the 16th of April, but I'll be busy all the first week of that. If someone wants to set up a poll (or possibly two, one each for Birmingham and London) on doodle then we should be able to get a better idea of when people are available.
