So where is everyone off to this summer then?
Going on holiday, interrailing, broadening one's horizons and weekends in Skegness.

Now that we have seen the back of Febuary and therefore winter I'm getting the summer feeling already.
Where do you guys plan on going this summer? Both home country travel and abroad plans.
I'm off to south east asia for a month. When I get back I might attempt at cycling around Ireland, or west ulster if that isn't possible. -

Now before anyone judges haha, my best friend goes out there every summer because she used to live there, had friends and family out there etc. So REALLY excited!
Will probably go somewhere with family in Britain as well, though not sure where

Re: So where is everyone off to this summer then? The Terracotta warriors are very nice, didn't go through the Mausoleum to see Mao, but went to Tiananmen Square. I was there last summer.(Original post by Romanorum-Hellas)
The People's Republic of China for two months. Seeing the Terracotta army in Xian, the Mausoleum of Mao in Beijing and the wondrous metropolitan world of Shanghai
For me, I'm off to Poland for a concert band tour, Dorset to go sea-kayaking, hiking in the Cairngorms, camping/cottaging in the Lake District, and possibly Portugal towards the end, as well as perhaps Leeds fest. Should be a good summer this one! -

Cornwall, Amsterdam and either Vienna or Helsinki. Buzzing!
I've been invited on a typical girls' holiday away, but I don't think they'd be my cup of tea.
I went to the Edinburgh Fringe last year and absolutely loved it. Shame I can't afford to go this year

Re: So where is everyone off to this summer then?Sounds like a great but expensive summer. I'm also studying in France during April and May and may be visiting an old French exchange student in Strasbourg, but other than that I will be trying not to expose myself as a 'Capitalist traitor' in China and get myself thrown in a Chinese jail haha.(Original post by Oromis263)
