    The games of your childhood
We all have that special, or not so special game that represents our childhood. What's yours?

For me, it was Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. I know it had terrible reviews, and it was no where NEAR as good as the first 3 games, but it was my first ever console game and I really liked it. It'll always bring back great memories of Christmas 2002 when me and my brother recieved a PS2 as a gift and how happy we were. The other games of my childhood were Petz 5 (still like playing it to breed dogs xD) Sly Raccoon, Dog's Life (the only game where you could be a dog and take a crap on a car XD) Ratchet and Clank, Nintendogs and Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Also if you have a story or special memory about the game, go ahead and mention it.

    Shinobi
Street Fighter (at the arcades- the buzz around the street fight culture was insane!)
    R-Type
    Golden Axe
    Black Belt

    In fact there are many.

I've gone off gaming but the last game I thought had that magical gaming dust was Shenmue on the Dreamcast.

I heard the Dreamcast was powerful for it's time. I never got round to using one, though.

Super Mario World and Sonic 2 were my first ever games and until I was about 5 they were the main games I played. When I got a PS1, I played a lot of Spyro and Crash Bandicoot! Later on I got into stuff like Pokémon too. I might go back and play these games again.

    Mainly RPGs, such as:

    1) Baldur's Gate 2
    2) Shining Force 3
    3) Grandia
    4) Pokemon Blue

I'm still into RPGs, although I now play a wider variety of other types of genres.
