I am currently in receipt of travel allowance , £2000 for taxi allowance. i never fully understood it, I tried on several occasions to get someone to explain it to me but noone bothered. I now understand that the public transport that i have to pay doesn't somehow get worked out of the £2000 but instead I get sent an invoice for the amount I owe uni (I had a taxi account through them) . How can they do this? How am I now supposed to pay hundreds of pounds in bus fares in one go? For gods sake
