Politics AS level mock... disappointing results?
So, I've just started getting back my AS level mock results... and as the title suggests, I'm rather disappointed with my government and politics one (I'm doing Edexcel, by the way).
In Unit 1 I gained 83%, which roughly equates to an A. However, in Unit 2 I somehow ended up with 66%, which meant that my overall score was 75%... around a B.
I'm really angry with myself, as I want to study the subject at university. I did try to revise but I felt there was so much to cover in the week we were given so I ended up looking at some topics but not others. It's strange because in my other subjects I seem to be getting results in the high 80%...
Do you think I've got no chance of getting a high A in the final AS exam with that mock result? I really want to study politics at university

Re: Politics AS level mock... disappointing results?
You were given a week to revise and got 75%! That is great, stop worrying!
When you break up the summer before exams you will have weeks and weeks to revise. You also have loads of extra time now to start going over topics and revising them in advance. If you can get 75% after a week of revising, think of what you can get w/ 4 months revision!
To answer your question, yes I believe there is a very good chance of getting a high A in the final exam.
I previously studied the subject myself, on the same exam board, and got an A, so I do have some idea of what I'm talking about.
Best of luck, and stop stressing
