    My favourite is thick cut back bacon, unsmoked. Served in a floured white roll with a good layer of butter. Then either topped with Mayonnaise or a slither of vegemite.

    Thick unsmoked streaky fried in butter straight from the butchers, buttered half rye sourdough with salt and pepper, thick cut bread. Ketchup.

    British bacon needs to be smoked but I prefer American bacon. Thick cut. The thicker the better. Fried. No butter because it takes away some of the delicious bacony taste.

    That must taste like ****. And how do you keep it in the bread?? Just impractical tbh.

    I like smoked back bacon, all of the fat nice and crispy, on buttered soft white bread (or a soft roll) with ketchup. :drool:

    The tommy sauce/brown sauce combo creates perfection :drool:

    Back bacon, unsmoked on white rolls that have a dusting of flow on top, i also throw and egg in there and add dashings of worcestershire and tabasco on the bacon with a pickle on the top of the bread :sogood: :drool:

    Super crispy unsmoked bacon + slightly toasted bread + a teeny tiny but of ketchup = bacon sandwich perfection.
