Any places that pay time and a half for Sundays?
Anyone know if places still do time and a half these days?
I use to get time and a half in Morrisons a few years ago. But think everywhere has stopped it now?

NHS band 2 pays time +88% on a sunday. The higher the band the lower the extra amount paid.

(Sorry I didn't notice this was part-time and temporary)

I think Waitrose-John Lewis do. Not sure, though.

I don't. I get £6.25 p/h for my 8 hour shift, so I feel like a bit of a mug when I see people at other shops/supermarkets getting money thrown at them for working Sundays. :sigh:

I think the vast majority of companies have phased out Sunday Working premiums for all new workers but still honour it for long-serving employees (Tesco have now stopped Sunday premiums but some employees receive 1.5 whereas the longest serving staff receive double time for Sunday working!)

Not sure they still honour 1.5 pay any more, when I started at M&S it was 1.5 back in 2007, those that started before 2004 got double but now Sunday is normal pay.

I did at Dunnes (Irish chain) when I started in 2010. The ones that started after me (2011) didn't though!

Lots of places have phased it out. I think B&Q still do?

Sainsbury's don't do it any more for new colleagues, and haven't done for about 6 years now.

M&S did when I worked for them in 2008. Or it might have been time and a third, can't remember heh.

depending on when you joined the company, at hmv you could get double or triple time. but it's gone now.
