I have an interview for o2 Telefonica, and have to do a presentation... help???
Being a student, as you all know its pretty much a conundrum trying to have a social life, studying and needing a job.
I havent had much luck in getting a job but lately I've passed everything for o2, but now I have to go through the final stage of doing a presentation! I'm terrified as I get nervous when doing a presentation (even though I'm confident when it comes to working in retail
) and I'm wondering does it need to be a Powerpoint presentation or those types of presentations where you just stand and talk?
Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

I had an interview for o2.....
You had to pick a piece of technology and discuss:
Pros/Cons
Who you'd recommend too, and why? (Small + compact, good for travelling....)
That's all. They don't really care what you say, but more about the delivery, speaking clearly, and confidently. -
Re: I have an interview for o2 Telefonica, and have to do a presentation... help???
I got an email saying I have to a presentation about anything Im passionate about, so I made a powerpoint about media... but now I'm sorta confused if it has to be technology or not?
how many people would i have to do the presentation infront of roughly?
thanks

It depends how many people are their for the interviews and so on. I presented in front of 11 + 2 judges/managers, so 13 altogether. -
Re: I have an interview for o2 Telefonica, and have to do a presentation... help???Fibre to the cabinet? The future of UK Broadband and something which BE*/O2 should invest in if they wish to stem the loss of their customers who are switching over to BT's FTTC otherwise known as Infinity?(Original post by fluffykitten123)
FTTC?
O2/BE* need to re-establish themselves as one of the key players in the broadband industry if they wish to compete with the likes of BT Infinity as the demand for fast broadband is greater than ever with the increase in adoption of gaming, internet video streaming, communications and access to large files over ftp.Last edited by IcEmAn911; 20-03-2012 at 19:19. -

They said something about it being what I'm passionate about. I'm passionate about media, but I dno how I'd connect that with o2 because they're only a network not a manufacturer -

Read up on the company. I quit after one week of working for them. -
Re: I have an interview for o2 Telefonica, and have to do a presentation... help???Yes, read up as much as you can. The phone interview consisted of asking about technical stuff such as what 3G is etc. For the presentation, pick something that you know about and something that you are passionate about too. For mine, I picked the iPhone 4 but messed that up. The manager was quite rude, was clock-watching and just seemed disinterested in general.(Original post by rizzl8)

Did you end up doing a powerpoint presentation on media or did you decide on something else? Also, how many people did you have to present to? Congratulations on getting the job.
Nope I just sat infront of two people explaining why I love media so much -
