Im feeling confident about confirming solent as my first choice for Business Management but just need to look at plymouth before i accept.

I went around the uni for the applicant open day on Saturday and also experienced the night life the night before.

All Staff and students were friendly and were more than happy to help. The main campus itself is really neat and is situated in a great location in the city, 5 mins walk to clubs and shopping centre.

The Deanery (en-suite) accommodation looks neat from both outside and inside however the rooms were very small and cramped considering they cost up to £120 pw.

I firmed Solent today, and I'm hoping for Deanery accommodation wise, and if I don't get there I'd like Lucia Foster just so I don't get bored

I want to firm Solent already as I got an unconditional but I don't know whether to wait for the uni's reply to my application on another course :/ I just really want to firm it now so I could apply for accommodation already, I'm a bit worried that I won't get a place if I waited for their reply for that other course. I'll have my portfolio viewed on the 28th so I don't think I can apply for halls right away :/

Im literally ****ting myself here over results, I want to go to southampton so much now, from the course to the city, and the accomodation is not too bad, im literally hoping i dont end up at york (not that its that bad, but too "small" for me) only 40 points between solent and york so i should be ok

Firmed my Unconditional for Computer Systems & Networks

Kinda the same feeling, I'm 26 and weighing up whether halls would be a good idea to get to know people with the prospect of getting a house share the following year or go with a house to start with and run the risk of everyone else in the house already knowing each other and not being freshers therefore feeling a bit on the sidelines. Decisions!

I will be 29 when i start, but i have decided on halls, i think it will be the best way to actually get to meet more people, and when the time comes to get a house i will actually be with people i know.

    Well thats the plan.....

I've just clicked 'firm' also for Magazine Journalism and Feature Writing I've tackled student finance after it took me round and round in circles!

Looking at en suite accommodation, kimber I think... Where is everyone else looking at living? Would be great to be surrounded by like-minded people.
