Re: Who actually finds that Coursework.info bot annoying? If nothing else, the bot can help to bump (and so bring new attention to) threads that haven't yet received a reply.(Original post by im so academic)
Or is it just me?
Look, if we thought that going to Coursework.info would've helped us in our queries, we would have gone there in the first place. Usually the same post is irrelevant to what the OP is asking anyway.
With the upcoming relaunch of the site, the bot's role may be reconsidered - we'll have to wait and see. -
Re: Who actually finds that Coursework.info bot annoying?Apparently you can get warned if you bump up a thread even from just 3 months ago (or around that limit).(Original post by Illusionary)

I've seen the Coursework.info bot bump up threads from a couple of years ago.

Re: Who actually finds that Coursework.info bot annoying?Bumping really old threads is something that's discouraged, yes, but warnings wouldn't usually be given unless we see it being done very often.(Original post by im so academic)

Three months is a good ballpark figure.
The bot shouldn't be bumping threads that are that old; it's set to bump threads after a day and to completely ignore threads older than seven days. If you see examples where older threads are bumped, it would be helpful if you could post links here so that this can be investigated.
