I'm studying Computer Science in London Met. Its a good university and teaching was excellent because of the teachers who are most of them from Russell Group University graduate or PhD holder. The facilities are excellent for science and arts courses as state of art systems has been installed recently. Recently Quality Assurence Agency from Government gave highest accolade in teaching above of Oxford and Cambridge Uni. It may not be in good position in ranking thaths only because this uni wasn't in ranking for 8 years due to a wrong decission of previous vice chancellor. But still in recent RAE its ranked one the top 20 school of architecture and Governence and International Relations.

Teachers are very friendly and helpful, staffs are always helpful if you have problem studying in London Met. A good uni is a uni that provides good support to their students and I strongly believe I am getting that support. Even before graduating I have job offer from IT industry. As you always know its not about university but about yourself. how you learn and impliment and London Met helps student to prepare for that.

Do you honestly think that the teaching is better at London Met than at Oxbridge?

Your post is littered with grammatical and syntactical errors. I wouldn't trust anything you have to say.

A warning to all; do not even think of attending this 'university' if you value your education or career prospects.

I've never been there myself but I get the impression its not great. When I was applying for postgrad I applied to a couple of uni's with lower entry requirements than my first choice, including London Met, as a 'just in case' panic type thing. When I told my lecturer about it he was was really negative about London Met, he told me I would be better off with no MA than with an MA from there.
In the end I got an offer from my first choice so I've never looked any further at it. I've always been a bit curious as to why it's got such a bad rep though.

Question should be why doesn't it have a good reputation

Yeah, hes incredibly delusional or otherwise sitting on a fat cheque. It would have to be a rather big one for me to come out open with those statements.

Okay, the uni is not particularly great. It ranks very low in all the league tables. I would personally recommend you go look at another university to attend. Met requirements are really low; I think most courses are around 200 UCAS points. If you have D's and E's at A-Level, then you would go there.

You should do some research before you display your ignorance.

If someone is getting Ds and Es, they shouldn't even be thinking of going to university.

London Met caters for a student body that should not exist.

Sorry but London met isn't good at all, unless it's your only choice for architecture and even then people go there for the first 3 years of their degree and try to move else where.

London Met doesn't do well in league tables for a reason, poor student satisfaction, etc. The area surrounding the different campuses aren't amazing other, quite a lot of busy roads, not many areas for peaceful thinking.

What course are you looking to do?

Why? They can't even do well in further education. What is the point of taking on even more difficult work, at the expense of the taxpayer?

    Waste of time.
