    they don't copy each other, i'm pretty sure they're called abrahamaic faiths for a reason, all three religions have the same origin, everything was split up from abraham's part; isaac, ishmael yadayadayada.

    they are called 'abrahamaic' because they all feature a guy called abraham and more pertinently, they all share the same religious stories and consequently many of the same practices and beliefs (albeit with some modifications along the way)

    Judaism is said to have been the first one- being historically dated much earlier - then christanity appeared and islam soon after.
