Is anyone in the same boat that I am looking at a list of 15 possible unis but have no idea which one to pick. I narrowed it down to:
    Bath
    Bristol
    Durham
    Imperial
    Leeds
    King's
    Leicester
    UCL
    Manchester
    Liverpool
    Oxford
    Sheffield

How I am going to pick five from all of those is going to be hard. Any advice???
Like the above poster, look at the course content - I am personally choosing Exeter because they do a module on 'cancer and the cell cycle' which looks really interesting and I find there is a much more flexible degree programme both within the biosciences department and outside (I'm thinking about taking a few modules of geography?) than other universities offer.

    I'm in (I think )

Any ideas of what you want to do with the degree?
Research although it is tough to get into, not much job security and doesn't pay well so I might do a graduate training scheme and go into the city.
