Re: 2013 Medicine Re-Applicants
I am considering to reapply for medicine. Although the problem is I will only have AAB/A*AB by the end of this year (I am already a reapplicant)
I have also decided I will be going university, so that limits my choice even more. I don't know any universities that would accept my grades either. It seems more and more likely that I will have to go towards the GEM way. -
Re: 2013 Medicine Re-ApplicantsHave you tried emailing the universities you're interested in and explaining your situation? That's usually the best place to start. And GEM isn't the end of the world, it just means it'll take you a little longer to get where you want to, but hopefully it'll be worth it. Best of luck in whatever you eventually decide to do.(Original post by Doctor.)

Re: 2013 Medicine Re-ApplicantsGood luck with the responses D!(Original post by Doctor.)
Right, just sent out like 30 emails to all the medicinal schools that accept resit applicants
Now it's time to get back to revising for S1
And S1...*shivers*. I hate that module with a passion

Loved Standard Deviation though - the formula was very useful for AQA Unit 6 EMPA

Re: 2013 Medicine Re-ApplicantsThe Edexcel D1 exam was yesterday in the morning - only the Further Maths set do D1 though.(Original post by carlsimmons2)
My first exam's on Thursday AQA Decision 1, Can't wait for them to be over so we can just focus on having an amazing year. -
Re: 2013 Medicine Re-ApplicantsAw I loved Normal Distributions. The all seem straightforward once you know what you're doing(Original post by thegodofgod)

It's those permutations that really piss me off

Re: 2013 Medicine Re-ApplicantsTechnically yeah, I was a year ahead at school but was ill during year 13 and missed a lot of school, so I applied this year instead. This will be my second application. Still sucks though.(Original post by amazin_sk8a_dude)
Anyone on second gap year?
Academic info:
A-Levels: A*A*AAB(+ ad in AS levels)
UKCAT 2011/2- 702.5
BMAT 2011/2- 5.8, 6.2, 1.5A
Rejected by Barts and St. Andrew's without interview (due to poor PS), Pooled by Cambridge but ultimately rejected (pooled due to poor BMAT essay score), and rejected by Peninsula post interview (Feedback on the interview said I was "Overly and unnecessarily nervous").
I'm considering taking my non- medical offer (Durham for Anthropology) and applying during my first year because I'm not too keen on taking another gap year. Anyone else applying whilst on another course?
Good luck to everyone applying

Re: 2013 Medicine Re-ApplicantsInteresting course choice you have there! I've been considering anthropology if I don't get in this time round. Just wondering what made you choose it as a back up?(Original post by Dave11)
