    Sheffield , Nottingham or York?
I have offer from all three universities to study psychology but I really can't decide which one to go to. It would be a big help if anyone can give me information about accommodation, course, student life, living costs etc

Accomodation at Sheffield is fantastic, and it's been called the cheapest student city to live in for many years. I think student life in Nottingham might just edge it but not to any degree which matters.

Based on the degree: york. Based on the city: Sheffield. Im just basing that on things ive heard on TSR/teachers about the "reputation" of york- i'm pretty sure its higher in the league tables too!

what you value more? reputation or experience.

If reputation, then leave tables may help decide between the two http://www.thecompleteuniversityguid...s?s=Psychology Research rating tends to be a better indicator of reputation of the course over general ranking simply because the general rankings take into account student satisfaction

although, if its about student experience (all three of those unis have good reputations, so you wouldn't put you at a disadvantage). which campus did you feel most comfortable in when you visited? if you haven't visited then visiting will most likely be be very helpful in helping you make a decision. You could always do the 'penny drop test', flick a coin and regardless of what side it ACTUALLY fell on, which one did you secretly wish it fell on?

Personally, i didn't think much of york, although they do have a very good reputation. The talk on the open day was in what felt like a sports hall with plastic chairs in, which apparently is their main psych lecture hall... not the standard of lecture theatre i had encountered at other unis... the campus was just generally hectic and even the students didn't seem to know how to get to some places... BUT saying that, a lot of people love it.. it may just be me.

If i'm honest, it does seem that most people love wherever they go.
