YIN: It's tasty, nutritious, pretty easy to cook, and personally I enjoy frying minced meat (love the smell and mixing it around and adding stuff).

YANG: Microwaveables spag bols taste like water. Also Spaghetti is an annoying food to eat.

YIN: It's a nice pizza, as homemade pizzas go. Good size base (not that thick, loaf a bread style that some like to do), nice toppings and just... nice.

YANG: It is, after all, a pizza. Its a bit boring and standard as a meal choice. Almost a fall back meal rather than a dish to serve to friends. Plus, it's no pizza express pizza.

Yin: Tasty and creamy and I love the crunchy layer you get on the top when it's homemade. Plus it just feels like a really comforting and homey food.

Yang: As tasty as it is, it's not very exciting! If it's on a menu I'm always likely to pick something a bit more interesting.

Yin: sometimes when done well and the proportions considered well, a nice Brie dish can be so lovely, like a Brie and cranberry tartlet or Brie and mushroom tart. It's a strong flavour too which sometimes works really well.

Yang: if not done well, or used knowledgeably it can ruin a whole dish. Plus, it's not as simple as like cheddar so can't really be used for cheese on toast etc

YIN: You feel lady-like and delicate eating them, anything that is afternoon tea-ish kinda has that affect. Which eliminates that, "this is actually well bad for you" factor I like ones dipped in chocolate, immensely. Saying that, I'd probably like a punch in the face if it was dipped in chocolate.

YANG: usually over-priced in my experience, an quite small. You're paying for the novelty of a Florentine rather than actual substance. And I can get carried away when eating them and go way overboard.

Yin: Chicken, pork or prawn with noodles? Delightful! And Chinese noodles at that a good order when having a takeaway, filling and tasty. Chilli beef is nice but can leave an oily layer you don't get with chow mein.

Yang: eat just a bowl full of chow mein and it's kinda like meh, I want something more, give me variety! Noodles a few veg and a meat chunk or prawn every now and then? Not a meal as such! Plus tiny chunks of meat or tiny prawns... Gimme real sized chunks!

YIN: Probably my favourite part of a chinese. Sod the main, I will just have these. Those soft pancakes, what are they, WHERE CAN I BUY THESE, seriously? Really nice with fresh spring onion and the sauce blows me away.

YANG: They go way too fast, everyone seems to make theirs quicker than I do mine so I end up having like 2 whilst everyone else gets about 4 or 5. SWINES. Sometimes they can spoil my main meal because I can't restrain myself.

Interesting fact of the day: A casserole, from the French word for "saucepan", is a large, deep dish used both in the oven and as a serving vessel.
    How splendid.

YIN: Its a nice comfort food. If you want something filling and warming, casseroles ya man! I mean dish... It's like a proper meal and leaves you full. Plus, there's a huge variety of casseroles to choose from, so you're not too limited.

YANG: On my list of favourite meals, casseroles is not among the food gods. It's a bit... 'meh' as a meal. if I'm told we have casserole for tea, I'm never filled with delight, it's just like a ...'oh, cool...' sorta reply.

Yin: Healthy, sweet, delicious, easy to cook, easy to fit into a variety of dishes. Can be cold or hot, sandwich. I'm a prawn fan, did u notice?
Yang: Not always cheap, depending on which you get. Some are effort if you have to remove heads etc. And they can overcook PRETTY fast. Oh and a negative of ALL fish is getting smelly hands after preparing them.

YIN: They'reeee greeeeeeeeat! Sorry, couldn't help myself. But seriously, better than Cornflakes with the addition of sugar, and they stay crunchy a good amount of time. Also the sugary milk you get after is delicious.

YANG: I never feel full after a bowl, so I usually end up having another, or two. Plus, if you leave them too long, the soggy factor kicks in and they're not so great.

I really hate to be pedantic but the word 'Yin' means negative in Chinese. Yang means 'sunny', or more appropriately, positive. Thus it might be better to swap the use of those two words because it's just a bit wrong.

Yin: when they're ripe they're lovely. Juicy, soft and still fleshy. A really great fruity option and do much better than plums

Yang: the stone! It just leaves you all sticky and covered in nectarine! Plus, when theyre passed it, they're not nice at all...

Yin: it is predominantly meat, so I get to pretend I am super manly neolithic monster dude. Everything gets that amazing char, making all Rustlers "painted on" barbecue lines look absurd.

Yang: something will inevitably be undercooked on the inside... Probably chicken, resulting in bumfudge.

Yin: great in hot chocolate! The big ones just don't cut it... Plus you can make rice Crispies cakes with marshmallows in too! Score!

Yang: taste like air if you eat them as a snack... Just nothingness really. Sad, the big ones are far better for snacking and toasting pleasures

Yin: I have never tasted a bad one. I mean, I even like a Smart Price one if it's heated up. I guess there's something about that thick Indian bread that is invincible to tasting bad. They're good hot, they're good cold. Perfect for soaking up thick curry sauces and can take a good amount of sauce and still hold itself. So nice the morning after too. ALSO, the ones with fillings..mm. Like a meal in themselves.

Yang: Possibly the most unhealthy thing going. Can over stuff yourself on them and then not have room for your Ruby Murray!

Okay, I feel bad. Must not speak ill of Naan.

Yin: The goddness of apple without even having an apple

Yang: They could taste really bad... Why not just have a healthy apple instead of chemically modified apple flavoured products?

Yang: overpriced doughnuts seem to be on the rise... Krispie Kreme for instance! Also, Custard filled doughtnuts just don't seem to compliment each other, as nice as both components are.

Yin: tasty pastry! jam filled doughtnuts are a staple treat, and iced ring doughtnuts are epic, as are mini cinnamon sugar ones you get at fair grounds or Thorpe park etc. ya feel sick after but damn it it's worth it!

Yin: usually about fifteen hundred for a pound. The triple choc or caramel chip ones are sexmouth. Also, the munchies and toffee crisp ones have no right being so delicious.

Yang: the bagged-in-fives ones are almost always never that soft pliable nature you hope for, having sat on the shelf all day. Also, 300-500 calories for one biscuit? But i just ate the five of them! Ulp.

Whats the yin and yang of.... Kettle Chips?
