Shoujo MangaHii I'm a new member and i thought i'd take initiative and start a new thread
Originally I accidentally posted this thread to the "Animal's and Pets" section -__-" How i did that i don't know, but now I'm putting the thread in it's rightful place. Anyway, like the proactive member I am, i was browsing through groups and came across one that appealed to me. THE ANIME SOCIETY ( I bet you can sense the nerd/otaku fumes oozing from my...uh well watever - did not mean that in a crude way). To my utter shock there was no Shoujo manga Threads ;o -shock face- Thus, this thread was born. SHOUJO DESERVES TO BE DISCUSSED. IT'S OUR MEDIUM, OUR VESSEL TO WOMANHOOD. THE EPITOME OF FEMALE SHINANIGANS! (if I spelt it right) Without Shoujo there would just be...Naruto ¬_¬ I KIddd i love Naruto ( plus i don't want to face the wrath of the fanatiques) Anyway! So please ladies, and gentlemen, discuss SHOUJO MANGA at your pleasure -

Re: Shoujo MangaLol, my first shoujo included themes such as bullying, drugs, pregnancy and many other VERY heavy themes. Great introduction into the genre
But i tend to go for more serious themes, though I still love fluffy shoujo. HOWEVER, they need wayyy more shoujo anime. Im getting sick of eechi, pointless melodramatic shounen series!

Re: Shoujo MangaWell, in fairness, I was only eight when I started to watch Chibi Maruko-chan and eleven when I read Sailor Moon, so the "fluffy" kind was all that was readily available to me at the time, and with good reason.(Original post by R4INBOW)

Re: Shoujo MangaSkip beat will NEVER have a second season. Its been like 4 years and nothing. Like wise with Ouran and Lovely Complex. Even then, at least the latter had a conclusive ending.
