The Student Room Group
This isn't really connected to your request, but I'm thinking of subscribing to New Scientist. However, on the bottom of the subscription form, it says Reed Business Information Limited may give your contact information to other companies who send imformation about their products and services. I don't want to receive this kind of junk mail so does anybody know the extent to which they send you things? Although RBI provides a website to allow you to decide who you don't want to receive things from, when I submit my preferences (i.e. disable everything possible) I just get forwarded on to a page that says something about an error. I think they've made it difficult for you to prevent junk mail coming by making access to the option error prone which probably just makes people give up. Has anybody here subscribed and managed to prevent the slight discomfort of recieving junk mail arising as a consequence? Thanks
