Mature fashion students

Are there any mature students out there studying fashion or hoping to start this year? I'm applying for foundation fashion and BA fashion for a few London Unis...

Just wondering what the uni's are like for taking you fresh from work, without doing a foundation diploma or access course? I have the relevant A Levels (Art and design AVCE at grade BC - specialised in fashion for final year) but the work I have done since college has mainly been marketing and not had much creative exposure in the professional world.

Any people in the same / similar boat I'd like to hear from you! :smile:
Their default position would be that you need to do some study. But as your applying for a BA with foundation you might be OK.

Do you have a portfolio even if it is a marketing one ?

Certainly I have 30 years in IT and I have been accepted for BSc Archaeology without foundation diploma, or Access course. But for Arts subjects I have no idea beyond what I said above.

Thanks, I do have a portfolio from college which I am building on and re working as it's a bit tatty and old! I do have something in the way of a marketing portfolio too so I might take that as well :smile:
