Non-Law degree student... How?
I was just needing clarification on how to get into a career in Law. I think i have the basics down. Im a second year History student at the moment. Anyway help me out if im okay :
During my third year of university ill have to apply to do the GDL. Then during the GDL i will have to apply to do the LPC. Then after that hopefully take up a training contract?
Is this correct?
As well as this, when do i need to apply for a training contract during this process, and where do i find information on where is best to apply? If i secure a training contract even before my GDL do they cover some of the costs? And am i correct in thinking this route only puts me a year behind my friends who started a law degree when i started my History degree?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks. -
Re: Non-Law degree student... How?Oh come on, google it yourself! A poster above has also already given you some useful websites, should you look on them you might be surprised to find some info there.(Original post by The99Call)
Also can anyone find me a list of places that offer the GDL? For example i know BPP do, but i also know the University of East Anglia do. What are the pros and cons of a regular university - UEA, or the type like BPP. Thanks -

Apply for training contracts and vac schemes asap
