    19/04

Spotter has probably broken his wrist knocking down the wall. Benching alone on an argos bench is not easy.

    Bench
    30x10
    70x10
    77.5x10
    72.5x9
    Drop set 87.5x4, 80x2, 50x8, 30x8 very slow negatives with 30
    Not too bad I guess.

    Tricep press to chin
    30x10
    10x10
    30x10
    10x10
    30x10
    10x10
done in a drop set type style

Machine press supersetted with barbell curls, 30 kg barbell
1st set was 8 reps each, then lightened the machine and did 3x10

    20/04

    Good morning
    30x10
    60x10
    80x10
    90x10
    95x10

    Barbell row
    60x10
    80x10
    80x10
    90x10

    DB row
    straps
    55x10
    55x10

    BTN lat pulldown 5x10

    Supersetted with curls 5x10

    Re: TTT Training
Got a game on Saturday so I decided to put my chest and back workouts together. I've been half-arsing so much lately that it's basically only one workout anyway.

    Bench
    20x10
    20x10
    60x5
    80x5
    102.5x4
    107.5x2
    80x10
progress. cool! will be less of a loser in no time at all!!

    Smith incline press
    60x7
    60x7
    60x7
    60x7

    Deadlift
    100x5
    velcro belt
    140x5
    180x5
    220x2
I wasn't going to do this, would probably have even cut the 180 set if I'd been on my own, but I asked to work in with a couple of big black guys and they kinda laughed and looked skeptical before they said yes. Then they went up to 5 plates and only did 1 each. A girl was there too. Ha ha ha. Nice guys though. But I need to be more competitive I think. Also they were much stronger than me at everything else.

    Cable rows
5 sets of 8, quite heavy

    Machine fly
    same only not really heavy

I think I'll do some triceps before I go to bed, since I'm single. This was a pretty nice session tho.

I was laughing about the deadlift story, that was pretty cool. Similar things have happened to me with rugby players squatting.

Haha thanks. They were cool guys, both Rugby players and actually legitimately strong but just not great at deadlifting. The bigger guy was saying he had benched 70kg dumbbells for reps earlier in the week.

    Re: TTT Training
Less ego boosting session today, shoulders. Felt small and a bit weak, but not that weak.

    BTN push press from pins
    20x7
    20x7
    60x5
    60x5
    70x4
    70x4
    70x4
    70x4
The reason these are light for a push press is not that I was super weak, but that the pins were quite high and I only got a little leg drive. Also it's harder to get good drive without the fast negative first. Felt OK though. Not the best they could have, but still.

    Rear delts 5x10

    Dumbbell press seated
    15x5
    20x5
    25x5
    DROP SET 32.5x6, 25x5, 15x5
Gonna try and progress on this for a few weeks.

    Machine shrug
    one hand drop set notation
    70x8
    70x7
    55x8
    40x8

    Machine press
    50x8
    50x8
    50x8

Lateral raise, 10 sets mostly of 8 reps, varying weights.

    Short workout

    Squat
    20x10
    60x5
    100x5
    120x3
    140x8
    100x2
    100x2
    100x2
    100x2
    100x2
    100x2
decent speed considering I am a pretty un-explosive squatter

    Leg curl drop set

    3x10 leg extensions.

    Re: TTT Training
    Chest+triceps

    Bench
    20x10
    20x8
    60x5
    80x4
100x5 missed 6, felt like it was there but gave up on it, maybe when it was harder than I thought. Or maybe it wasn't there. A bit annoyed but 5 was the aim.
    110x1
110x1 very short rest between singles
    85x9
    60x8
    60x8
    60x8
    60x8
    60x8

    DB triceps
    15x8
    15x8
    15x8
    15x8

    Machine chest drop set
    90x6
    75x5
    60x5
    25x10
    all slow negatives

    Tricep cable drop set
    35x8
    25x8
    15x8
    5x10
    also slow negatives

Half and half. Still focusing on the main lifts but actually working hard-ish at assistance for once instead of just slacking.

    60x5
    80x3
    90x1
    BTN
    60x5
    80x2
both BTN presses from pins. Had a really bad bar

    Seated DB press
    15x5
    25x3
    drop set 32.5x7, 20x4, 15x10
7th rep was ridiculously hard, but required to make it an OK workout.

    One handed machine shrugs
    80x8
    90x8
    drop set 100x5, 100x3, 75x8, 50x8
