    You don't?

Having a car isn't some right :holmes: as far as I'm aware there's not fuel/road tax/insurace benefits for car-owners out of work

    Savings.

And working harder to get a job, the only reason I got a car was to have a better chance to get a job, and because I need it to train.

I don't have a permanent job but when I'm home from university I do a lot of temporary work for a local recruitment agency, which I then save, and use this money for things like petrol, insurance, tax etc. I also help the local council with election work, so that's more money too. Not permanent, just odd jobs when they need me/when I'm not free.

I don't drive while I'm at uni, my car stays at home in the garage. Sometimes my dad takes it out for a run to keep the battery going, and sometimes he uses it for work (which often then means it's got petrol in it when I'm home :awesome:) Love having a mechanic for a dad. :p:

You get off your arse and find a new job.
If you want little luxuries in life you have to be prepared to work hard to pay for them.

Common sense is free, my friend. Fill yer boots!

Easy... parent(s). Somehow I've got together £5k ready for when I pass, yet I have never had a proper job, plus with my 18th coming up, I should be rolling it in
