Donington Park, during the 2nd weekend of June.

(Unfortunatly I've never had the chance to travel much, even within the UK, so Download is as exciting as it gets for me)

I would love to travel to Tarangire National Park in Tansania. Many wildlife animals are there.

Mine is Bharatpur, Nepal, simply because of the incredible memories I have from spending 2 months living with a family there last year. It's smelly, dirty, burning rubbish everywhere, completely polluted rivers and streets, but the people are just incredible, so full of energy and life. I'd come out of my house every day and walk down the street to cries of "HI *my name*" and elderly ladies randomly coming up to dance with me. Amazes me how people can have so little in the way of material things and still be so ridiculously happy. Says something about our society really.

Plus it's near to a beautiful national park and the jungle, and the gorgeous Narayani River

Sarangkot near Pokhara in Nepal would have to be up there too, one of the best days of my life there getting up at 3 to watch the sun rise over the Himalayas then paragliding Memories are what make the place for me.

Other favourite places would have to be Hawkes Bay (NZ), Moustiers Ste Marie (France), Sarasota (FL) and Upstate NY

We also used to own a flat in a Spanish holiday resort and we went there every year when I was little, that holds fond memories for me too.
Cool Which resort was it? I love the Spanish mediterranean coastline.

    For the beauty:

Banana Islands, Sierra Leone - don't go during the rainy season, pretty much ruined my stay

Amedzofe, Eastern Region, Ghana - beautiful mountain village with rainforest, waterfalls etc.

Multiple places in Norway - I love this country, it has forest, mountains, tundra, it can be lovely in summer and chilling in winter ...

    Personally:

Agona Swedru, Central Region, Ghana - no particular attraction apart from that I have lived there and feel deeply in love with this place for all the friends I made and my school.

Wow, sometimes you REALLY wonder how you can get negs for something such not offensive or controversial ...
Because you listed more than one place and those people are jealous.
I've travelled a fair bit and if I ever talk about it (which isn't often) sometimes people start rolling their eyes even if they asked me about it.

Anyway favourite place Mandalay and Inlay Lake, Myanmar or Queenstown New Zealand.

Admittedly never been outside Europe, but Europes still a beautiful place! The UK can be really pretty too depending on where you go, although from my limited experience, I'd have to say Malta.

Reasons? It's beautiful, the climate is great, the people are so so friendly (stayed in a village where we were the only tourists), one of the only places outside the UK I've felt I could live in all year round!

OMG I live an hour from Storrs! Haha no way, a whole bunch of my friends also go to the University of Connecticut. Never thought I'd see someone else saying that they like Connecticut!

Mine would have to be my hometown in Connecticut, it is a quintessential New England town and absolutely beautiful. I love it and couldn't imagine growing up anywhere else. Also, Aruba because the beaches are amazing and picturesque. It doesn't hurt that there is never a cloud in the sky, either.

Southern Cyprus - might just be due to familiarity though, as it's not exactly spectacular
Cyprus is pretty nice. I stayed in a rented house in the Troodos mountains for 2 weeks with my parents a few years ago. I can't remember the name of the closest town, but it was basically on a mountain and in the middle of a pine forest. There were some really authentic local villages nearby, and also hiking trails with amazing scenery.

I have to agree with you there! I lived in Munich for two years, definitely moving back when I'm older! My other favourite places are Holland as a whole (my best friends are both dutch!) and Kenya... well nothing beats sitting on the outside terrace area of a tent, in the middle of the african wilderness, listening to the sounds of the animals, and watching the stars, or wallowing in an infinity pool, looking out over the bay below with dhaus going out to see, as the sun sets, or spending the day as a guest in a local village, the look on the faces of the children as we gave them a pencil melted my heart....

Well.. I was going to post a couple of my pics, but apparently it won't work
Just because I want people to see my photos heres a link!

England is great in its own way, but lets be honest, it's home, and theres so much more to the world than the UK really! Though I must say I loved the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland, visited it at the end of a long day out to the north cost when staying in Belfast with friends, I tell you, it was raining, and getting dark, but it was the most amazing atmosphere ever, and you could imagine going back in time!

EDIT: Just seen someone posting about Antigua, I went there once too, that was also amazing, but Kenya certainly topped it, but I'll never forget hiking trough a rainforest in Antigua.
I tried repping you but I'm out for today! But nice of you to mention Antigua!

Most have named cities... personally I can't stand urban areas.

Chyulu Hills in Kenya. Amazing to walk amongst the hills, old volcanoes, lava flows, grasslands, etc whilst at the same time seeing all sorts of wildlife ranging from elephants and hippos to zebra and gazelle. Mzima Springs is also worth a look for anyone visiting the area, as is the Chaimu crater, and Kisula Caves in particular the Leviathan Cave which is one the worlds longest lava tubes.

Visited there in 2009, fantastic place

Where's yours? and why! Think mine would have to be New York, but Havana, Cuba comes a close second!
Out of the places I've been to so far. I love Paris because its my birthplace. I really like Toronto, Canada! Singapore is nice but I only went there when I was little. Germany is cool. So I think it has to be Canada so far. I've yet to travel to many other places.
