If i can get a place in halls, then definitely halls! I live 160 miles away from the uni, so would rather not have to have the added hassle of finding private housing! You?

Halls is cheaper in the sense that you don't have to worry about bills and the amount of electricity/water etc you use. Kingston charge around £105-120 per week but that is unlimited usage. Where as when you go into a house you have to be very careful with the electric/gas you use otherwise you end up with a massive bill (spoken from experience!) and you're usually paying between £90-120 per week in rent so halls does usually work out cheaper in Kingston anyway!

Well i dont know :/ I havent applied for accommodation they say they're sending me an email in may And it says i should appply for the one that has the cheapes of £105 a week, but does that i mean i cant apply for the Seething Wells one? :/ I want the budget en-suite Looks small and cosy :P

But yeah, halls first year i think would be best for me :/ I live in manchester, dont want the hassle of fiinding private and i dont know how much elec/gas i'll use, probs best to stay for halls for the first yeart and then get a house with a few people so its cheaper and i know a few people around there?

    Whats everyones views?

EDIT: And i applied to student fiance and the bit that says input your course... i did and the same code and on the website its a BSc Business Economics, yet Student finance seems to think its a BA Business Economics, the code for it is L1N1 :/ Is that a problem for student finance? :/ And is it a BSc or Ba then? :/ And are people here already at Kingston? If so what's teh uni like?
    Im exciittttted

I'll be applying for halls at Kingston Hill, as that's where my course is based. So Chancellor's or Walkden, you?

Do you have to stick to the same campus as the school is on for your chosen degree?

well usually the campus in which your school is in will usually hold your lectures, so theres no need to keep travelling between campuses during the day. However, depending on your course, sometimes some of your modules may be taught in a different campus or different days may require you to go to different campuses, but i dont think this is that common.

if you mean are you allowed to go to different campuses outside of lecture times, then yeah ofcourse. sometimes you might even have to because each campuse library holds different kinds of books
