Re: Theory Test ...........
I'd recommend a copy of the highway code and perhaps one of the DVDs - I had the "Driving Test Success - All Tests" one. The DVD had things for all the tests [obviously] and was really good at identifying weaknesses/gaps in your knowledge etc. Plus, I think the best way to prepare for the hazard perception [aside from being out on the road on your lessons] is to actually try it... Using the DVD means you are 100% comfortable with the process of taking the test etc, which should help.

Re: Theory Test ...........Theyll probably be similar, I found many were similar but worded slightly differently. Some were exactly the same though, although a few I had never seen before, too. So just keep practising them and you wont go wrong, make sure you do practice hazard perception too, its not hard but takes a bit of getting used to in terms of when to click for hazards, what counts as a hazard, etc.(Original post by sz16)
So I've been doing practice multiple choice and hazrad perception over the past few days. With the questions they are different ones each time but most people have told me that the practice questions are the same ones as in the real test ..... -
Re: Theory Test ...........
The theory test questions I have been doing are all the same but some are worded differently. The ones I struggle with are stopping distance ones but the rest are easy! I don't want to do my theory and find out that there are a lot harder questions on the real things that I havent even seen before.

Re: Theory Test ...........Nah, it's just as easy - most of the questions are common sense apart from a few like you mentioned where you have to remember stopping distances and tire treads etc.(Original post by sz16)

Re: Theory Test ...........
Buy 'The Official DSA complete Theory Test Kit'. I swear by it! It contains every possible question they can ask you. Although they have slightly changed the test by introducing "unseen questions" to deter people from simply memorising the answers rather than knowing them if that makes sense. But there'll only be 4 or 5 unseen questions so it's fine. It also has a practice Hazard Perception DVD which is just as useful
I used this DVD every day for months and ended up finishing the test in 15 minutes

Re: Theory Test ...........You can get the "All Tests" package for like £3 delivered off eBay, then just sell it on.(Original post by sz16)
how can I revise both parts of the theory test without having to by anything? -
Re: Theory Test ...........I borrowed this one from a friend who had already passed, it was really useful for hazard perception and theory, although I also bought the theory/highway code book.(Original post by theseeker)
What CD do I need which has the Hazard Perception with it to pass the theory?

Re: Theory Test ...........
You're probably paying £20 per lesson for the driving. I can't see why you won't spare a fiver on a decent DVD for the theory.
Don't under estimate the significance of theory, despite that it's easy (relatively), it's equally important as the real test. They go together like internet and porn.
Also, you can always sell the DVD on ebay after you're done. I use the "Success Driving Test All Tests 2009" DVD. Cost me a fiver. The test changed slightly this year, but nothing significant.
