I plan on firming it, I haven't yet, as my school has stopped anyone firming it until after we have a meeting with our form tutor. Also, have you applied for accomodation yet? Do you need to firm it, to apply for accomodation?

Sorry, this is irrelevant, but is your username a reference to 'The Stand'?

Tis a masterpiece! Although I don't think I'll ever forgive Stephen King for the systematic slaughter of basically every decent character in the series...

I do open days and was told that something like 60% get their first choice I believe. My advice however, is to not get too attached to the idea of having a certain type of accommodation...it may seem like a big deal right now but you'll realise when you get here that you'll be happy wherever you end up!

Have to admit, I'm not overly fussed, would prefer ensuite and WL or GE but as long as I have good house mates I'm happy. It's just nice to know how likely it is to get what you want or to end up somewhere completely random.

I have no idea how to apply for housing. Do I have to wait for something in the mail/e-mail' or is it something online?
