Is there a higher chance I'd get the place I want if I apply now? I still haven't decided on firming Southampton and I'm worried I should hurry up with my decision so I can get my accommodation choices down!
Or do they only start considering them later in the year?

If you're a non-EU student, UoS guaranteed a place for you in halls, so no worry about accommodation. And from what I heard, they only start processing accommodation stuff in August.

You have no idea the nightmare I've had trying to apply for accommodation... Every time I logged out it wouldn't recognise my details.

All sorted now though! Applied for Glen Eyre and Wessex lane for self-catered without an en-suite.
