Hey Im glad to know someone whose doing the same course!
I hav'nt been able to get any reviews so far as well.. and most probably you would be allocated USTINOV college as most of the postgraduate students are sent there. I have been admitted to the same too. drop me your email so i can message/add you on facebook & forward you the different pages/groups of Durham.

I studied my MSc in Accounting & Finance at Exeter and my advice would be to have a basic understanding of Quantitative Methods before starting the course. It was very much assumed in the course that people were familiar with it, so not much time was spent explaining it. I got tutoring before starting the course and I am glad I did.
If It would be useful I can post some of the course topics, as I expect it will cover some very similar areas as the MSc provided by Durham.

Thanks morrison. The university is offering a week long presessional mathematics & statistics course. After reading your comment, it now makes even more sense to attend it..

    Hi OP,
I'm just wondering what your previous educational background is?
Such as first degree, degree classification, university etc
I am looking to apply for a MSc in a few years and am just wondering what universities require.
They all say 2:1 but I was looking for a more specific answer.
    Thanks.

    hi,
can you please post some of the topics you were taught in the presessional course. I presume they must be quite similar to the pressional course at Durham.

    Thanks.
