TSR Med Students' Society Part IV
The place for medical students to discuss all things about the course from work load to applying for jobs and everything else. Not the place for applicants to ask current medical students questions!

Will they charge you? One of my friends managed to amass a fine of £49
Would it not be cheaper to buy the book?(Original post by chloemo14)
According to the medic library lady, I've won the prized accolade of highest fine this year - £92
First year represent?

Re: TSR Med Students' Society Part IVWhat a pointless system.(Original post by Phryx)
In the hospital library now: returned the book. With us our fine is expunged aslong as we return the book. The librarian now has to email the central uni office and hopefully they'll reactivate everything. My uni email is pretty essential. -

Passed BSc with a 2.1. Minimal work pays off again!

I swear my last few posts in here have literally all had the words "well done", "congrats" or some similar variation in them. Good stuff! -

Now do we need to wait till Graduation day before taking the TSR Doc's society by storm?
Graduation day?
Well, in this thread it's all you're not a med student still you start, young pre-fresher...
So I'm thinking first Wednesday in August.
Spoiler:Show

Not even when we (sort of) start a whole week earlier, for shadowing and induction?

I'll be peering through the window till then - just a quick question though - at which point post graduation does one stop feeling like a big ball of nerves?
Just I'm crashing between super excited and ready to start and moments of sheer - "OH BUGGER!"
As for a meet - I've been wanting to for some time but alas finances have always gotten in the way - hopefully not for much longer.
