Warwick Msc Fin & Econ

Anybody knows if the Macro and Microeconomics and Econometrics in the Msc in Fin and Econ of WBS is the same as the first term in Msc in Economics in the economics department?, in terms of content and rigor?.
Does it give you a good foundation for a Phd in Economics, if you want to specialize later in Financial Economics?, how would be seen by the adcoms, for example in Cambridge?
