Help needed with a piece of fish

Hello, I need some help with a piece of cod I've just bought.

Does anyone have any nice, simple suggestions with what to do with a piece of cod?

What sort of things can I do with it which are fairly quick and really easy?

It might help to know what else I've got in the house (though I can pop round the shop if I need more things). I have:

mushrooms, cheese, eggs, green pepper, carrots, salady-type-items, rice, pasta, baked beans, green beans, wholemeal bread, plain flour, onion, roast potatoes (frozen) and probably a few other things....

...any ideas on what you could do with all that lot?

Fry it with some butter. Or make some lovely cheese sauce and have it in that. Yummmm. I'm hungry now.

Place the cod fillets in an oiled roasting pan or an earthenware dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season. Place tomatoes, basil and mozzarella slices on top of the fillets. Sprinkle over the Parmesan, drizzle over some olive oil, and bake at the top of the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, until golden.

Fish and cheese is arguably the worst combination in food history.

Lol what a random thought you had, if I had problems with a piece of cod, I never would have thought to have come on here, though it now does seem like a good idea. Theres a few websites which have a few ideas, whether you want something quick, or a bit more ambitious:
http://www.gortonsfreshseafood.com/recipes/029
http://dmoz.org/Home/Cooking/Soups_and_Stews/Fish_and_Seafood/Cod/
http://search.allrecipes.com/recipe/ingadv.asp
(The last one's quite useful, you type in the ingredients you have and it produces recipes for you).

Seems like a random idea to come on here when you don't know what to do with your cod... but a good idea anyway. Have a look on this recipe website, you just type in the ingredients you want/don't want to use and it produces possibly recipes. I've found a few useful things on here before:
