Re: When am I REALLY supposed to start revising?
I'm Also taking 9 exams this summer,
Retaking; S2, M2 and Chem 4.
Taking; M3, S3, FP2, Chem 5, Physics Written & Practical (2 papers).
I'm starting NOW. I've made a timetable on http://getrevising.co.uk/timetable/calendar. And I will be following it hopefully
I like to keep a separate notebook, different from the class notebook. And make syllabus specific notes on it. It's colour coded, very neatly written, and sometimes I stick photos in it which might help me understand the topic better cause I'm hopeless at drawing.
I'll probably finish it by 3-4 week, leaving me another 3-4 weeks to go through it.
I'll be carrying it around with me, cause it contains EVERYTHING I need to know.
This helps also, cause you get to know your week points quite early and can discuss this with your teachers and friends.
I hope it helps.
So a simple and short answer would be NOW.

Re: When am I REALLY supposed to start revising?agreed, but if you are very clever, you will realise it's best to get revision done asap and then focus on exam technique for longer...worked for me!(Original post by Multitalented me)
It depends how clever you are tbh
seriously anyway, depends on the number of exams you have and when
I have M1 (16/05), Ec 1 (18/05), S1 (18/05) , CHM2 (23/05) , Ec 2 (25/05) , M2 (31/05) and C3 (14/06)
so i have just under two months with one and a half weeks of school left until easter...in my opinion i should start revising the topics of maths now, so by friday the 30th , i'll know the topics inside out and can start past papers/hard qs from the textbook with the content learnt...
Chem, im revising 3 sections for the ISA anyway, so that actually helps in a way
Economics is a massive course, so if you're doing that, best to start now, I keep putting it off and that is the wrong way to go...advisable to aim to finish it all by the first week of hols and get started now, so you go into the holidays propelled...
If you are doing GCSEs, you should have really done mocks and shouldn't need to start revising anything you've done an exam on until easter.
If you are doing A2s, well they don't start until june so don't bother until easter starts...
