Resit or not to resit?

I received my results results last week from my January modules, I got 83 in C1 and 90 in S1. I know the C1 is an A grade but as I am studying Further Maths AS and I was achieving higher on practice papers I think I should resit; especially as C1 is the easiest module and I would like a high UMS on maths AS. BUT C1 is at the same time as M1 which I will need to work really hard for as I hate mechanics. So should I resit?
BTW I have to tell my teacher tomorrow if I want to be entered.

No point really, unless you're not confident that you'll achieve the A grade at AS.

Unless you're applying to Cambridge and need to fill out that SAQ form, I don't think it'd worthwhile resitting - especially when it could distract you from getting a top grade in M1.
