This is thread for anyone who, like me, has applied/confirmed to be volunteering at Reading, leeds or latitude this summer through Hotbox, so you can meet people before you go
FYI I'm doing Reading and Latitude!Last edited by italienmoose; 12-03-2012 at 20:52. -
Re: HOTBOX Festival Volunteers 2012!None! Haha, was going to do it last year but couldn't because of clashing holidays and work so yeah(Original post by italienmoose)

Re: HOTBOX Festival Volunteers 2012!
Volunteering for latitude and reading! Just applied this morning and have got confirmation for latitude as a CAT Steward - new
just waiting on reading...
Was going to go for paid work but I thought screw it, might as well try doing this first.
Haven't done it before, really looking forward to it! -

Re: HOTBOX Festival Volunteers 2012!Any particular reason?(Original post by maitai)
I was going to, but unfortunately the only person I know who has volunteered through HotBox warned me against it. Ugh, I just really want to go to Latitude

Re: HOTBOX Festival Volunteers 2012!Apparently HotBox was late in giving her her deposit money back. It may have been just a one off thing, but it did put me off. Especially considering how much more the deposit amount is for HotBox compared to something like Oxfam.(Original post by italienmoose)

Re: HOTBOX Festival Volunteers 2012!A friend of mine has done it for 2 years and has never said it was late? He said you kind of forget about it so it's a nice surprise when the cheque comes through in october haha!(Original post by maitai)
