I just rang the housing services and they said if you have already applied you should find out sometime next week

this keeps happening to me as well, thought i was the only one. i guess will just have to see if it works later in the week then :\ xxx

I had the same problem a couple of times but the third time it was successful. So I'd suggest just keep trying? Good luck

I kept having this problem. I didn't get to register until this morning. I managed to ring up and get my student ID yesterday as well haha, bit of a manic day.

i really like the idea of manna ash, but I haven't been to a lot of areas in london and my mum used to work near southwark and she says it's not very safe.

since i'm into sports and such and want to join local clubs, there are trainings that go on at night, which means I will have to be getting home after it gets dark (probably by myself), so I'm wondering if you (or anyone else who might have read this) could give me any advice whether this will be a problem. Thanks!

Southwark is really big, the part of Southwark that Manna Ash is really safe. It's on the main road, Blackfriars. I think your Mum might be thinking about the Elephant and Castle area? And considering you're going to CSM you'll never go down there anyway.

The last tube to Southwark is at 12:30am. Waterloo station is also right by Manna Ash, and trains stop there until 1am

Honestly the Manna Ash area is really nice, every friend that has come to visit me has commented on how nice the area. You're a 5 minute walk from the station, 10 minutes to Waterloo station, the London Eye, South bank, 20 minute walk to Trafalgar Square

Thanks! that's great to hear. My account isn't working at the moment and i called them and they said they're fixing it by tomorrow but hopefully i'll still get in!!
Do you know if the other locations eg Don Gratton or Will Wyatt are just as safe?

i know!! i've applied for manna ash, don gratton and will wyatt. lots of people seem to be applying for those places so must be quite a bit of competition. i'm going to be at lcc studying fda interior design hopefully i get manna ash. how about you??
