Low: It was a toss-up between homemade ratatouille or a sweet potato mash. I'm going to go with the sweet potato because it always feels more indulgent but can still be so low. I don't think you require milk/butter/cream with sweet potato because it's already got such great flavour. Can even just roast it.

High: A really cheesy cauliflower cheese, with crumbled bread on the top and parmesan all melty and bubbling. And little dark crispy bits.

Now, I don't much rate overly creamy table sauces and aas such I don't have anything mega-bad like mayo or southwest sauce or whatever. I prefer my spicy!

HIGH: Probably a thick Tartare Sauce on my fish.

LOW: Habanero Tabasco. It's virtually calorie-free.

LOW: Marks and Spencer Stuffed Ratatouille Mushrooms.
60 kcals each, cheese and crumble topping, and taste like a dance of wonderment on the tongue.

HIGH: Pretty much any cream/cheese-based pasta ready meal. For example the infamous Tesco Macaroni Cheese for One: 1065 kcals per ready meal!

Low: Nando's chicken burger (334kcal - fair enough a McDonald's hamburger is less, but it's also a good bit smaller, less filling and generally unhealthier )

High: TGI Friday's double stacked Friday's burger - woah.

High and low of: Hot Chocolate?

High and low of: Hot Chocolate?
low: an options or skinny cow hot chocolate, 40 calories a pop and tasty and satisfying. Yuuuus please.

High: when I was in Italy I went to a cafe and ordered a hot chocolate, it was almost like pure melted chocolate. The best quality, with marshmallows and cream and chocolate sprinkles. I'd go back to italy to have it all over again.

LOW: Options White Chocolate. It tastes gorge-a-hoo, and it's only about 40 kcals.

HIGH: Starbucks Peppermint White Choc Mocha. I never go into Starbucks besides Christmas when they did this. In a past life I drank so much of these, but then I learned they pack in 700 calories.

    WUT.

High: A triple decker BLT, or CBLT (chicken, bacon etc) sandwich from Tesco.

Low: (with the absence of sushi!) Lighter Options Tuna and Cucumber/Salmon and Cucumber. I genuinely don't think it tastes like a diet option, just tastes cleaner due to less mayo.

LOW: Edamame bowl and a skinny latte. Fills the gap quite nicely.

HIGH: The falafel and halloumi cheese wrap. I have a serious boner for falafel but they're horribly calorific.

LOW: Either a Marks and Spencer Prawn Cocktail Salad (80kcals) or Prawn and Pasta Layered Salad (180 kcals), or YO! Sushi for their cheap deal (£10 for 4 plates and a drink until April) - I get Tilapia Sashimi, Tuna Nigiri, Chuka Ika and Chicken Katsu plus a drink, all less than 400 kcals.

HIGH: MUNCHY BOAX! A proper Scottish Munchy box packs in more than 4000 kcals. Sure, I can't eat one alone (hell, TWO people would struggle) but it's a mighty tradition!

HIGH AND LOW OF: Chinese Food!
