Re: The Apprentice 2012Thanks for reminding me it's on sunday, i always forget! I would rep you but i've ran out for the day(Original post by Mocking_bird)
Just a reminder that the final is on a Sunday!
I forgot last year, and had the winner ruined by a "60 second news update" a few moments after it had happened
I love the interviews show because they always find lies in their CV and it's funny seeing them attempting excuses

Re: The Apprentice 2012Intelligence isn't everything, though; I don't doubt that Tom is intelligent, but he also lacks creativity, social awareness (talking about how much he knows about art, then doing the same with wine the next week) and personality and enthusiasm. Anyway, Ricky hardly belongs in a special school and has qualities that put him above Tom. He's better at adapting a plan to changing circumstances, better at getting on with other people and has more enthusiasm.(Original post by thesmileyone69)
Last year I said that you could pretty much tell who wins by the Final Five show. Notice that they spent AGES discussing Tom and Ricki's lives but didnt spend much time on the other 3. One of the other 3 has gone now.
I reckon Tom and Ricki will be the top 2, where Tom will win it as Ricki is just dumb compared to Tom. But I think Ricki will pull the "i should win to make my divorced mum proud" card.
I doubt he will.
In fact, the only person that's tried a sob story so far is Jane McEvoy.

Re: The Apprentice 2012It was on at 2245. And on a Saturday night - very odd time, don't the BBC realise most viewers are young adults?(Original post by tpxvs)

Re: The Apprentice 2012
Can someone tell me when the show is recorded? I.E. When do the tasks actually happen? Is it actually real-time, or do they somehow withhold press comments until after the episode is shown on TV?
Edit: Because it's insane to think that they could really be spending 12-13 weeks in the competition with no break.

Re: The Apprentice 2012"background on the candidates show"? They were making a luxury product? The Interview show is the last show, so its today(Original post by ak137)
Whens the interview show? Last wednesday was a "background on the candidates" show. Sorry, i watch it on iplayer, if someone could tell me.

Re: The Apprentice 2012I find it more insane to think that they're doing these tasks in quick succession.(Original post by Big-Daddy)

They seem to spend three or four days on a task, and the whole process look pretty intense to me, so I reckon they probably are there for a few months when you take into account that they also need some time to recover.

Re: The Apprentice 2012I imagine they have about 1 maybe 2 days rest between a task and the whole thing is pretty rapid.(Original post by TheSownRose)

Re: The Apprentice 2012I have some additional predictions, alongside 'Jade is the winner':(Original post by Hopple)
X
- Tom has lied on his CV;
- someone is discounted for messing up the numbers;
- Nick getting rid of the coffee business is criticised;
- the fact that Ricky and Jade haven't already established a business will be brought up;
- I could cheat and say that I thought Jade has omitted something from her CV all by myself...
-

Still, there's time for you to get some proper predictions in
"Tom has lied on his CV", I'll go with all of them have
I think I'll make some predictions this time, but will post them later
Did you watch the programme yesterday? I didn't, I thought from the taxi cab bits that I'd either agree with Sugar or think he's an idiot or lying.
-
Re: The Apprentice 2012I might add some more, but those ones will remain. I reckon they will have all embelished or omitted something undesirable, but I think Tom in particular has told an outright lie.(Original post by Hopple)

I did, yes, although it was a bit of a waste of time and I ended up treating it as background noise. There was nothing new there, really.
