Out of interest, who is everyone's favourite at this point?

I'd have to say mine is probably Nick. He's just impressed me and seems to be one of the few with a bit of common sense.
Tom without a doubt. He has literally not made a single bad decision so far, yet he still lacks the arrogance of most of the others. An absolutely top candidate.

Who was it who mentioned 'Nick' and 'One Direction' earlier in the thread...?

    Quoted below.

Sadly even as a straight male I can agree with that. Nick reminds me some sort of One Direction wannabee when he is about 10 years too old for the trend. He does seem to have quite a funny personality though, like he is almost literally rofl-ing when Duane refused to shake Lauras hand :rofl2:

Bless, Azhar's smile is quite strange no wonder he keeps such a solemn face

I think Tom is over-hyped however I do think he is one of the strongest so far.

On that post apprentice show, Azhar looks like the Asian David Tenant.

Regarding his leaving, he probably didn't deserve to go because Jade was a weaker candidate, but he himself doesn't have what it takes to win that show. I think he would have gone in the next couple of weeks anyway.

    The classic Lord sugar ploy.

Sugar: 'And you candidate A, you seem to have a weekness that can really undermine your position'

    and for that reason....

    CANDIDATE B, YOU'RE FIRED

IMO, Tom hasn't done anything particularly outstanding, it's just that he also hasn't done anything particularly awful so it makes him seem good ... if that makes sense?

    YES!

That is who I was trying to think of, even down to the creepy smile.

What a stupid reason to fire Azhar. If people ignore him then that's hardly his fault. Anyway Tom or Nick to win, they seem like my kind of mates :yy:

Does anyone get really motivated to start a business after after The Apprentice?

    Or is it just me?

Also I wonder how the application process made these people get onto the show because some of them are really bad IMO.

I know what you mean, though I've still felt like I couldn't be a business person (just always felt that way). I did start looking up getting a market stall for a bit though, thinking I'd just do what they do, go to a warehouse and get a load of cheap **** and smell what sells... it's not that easy to just go off and do though, admittedly I didn't look into it loads or care much about it...

why are project managers immune from firings?

    grrrr.

It was unfair this week as he pointed out a really basic fault and was ignore, and the team would have performed the same without the one with the annoying voice as pm.

I dislike the new tactic PMs employ- bringing in someone that was in the final 3 the week before, and then saying "oh i've never been in the bottom 3 but he has, fire him." It's so transparent and sugar goes along with it.

I'm sick of the best salesman argument too, if a customer likes the product, they are gonna buy it regardless of an unwitty salesperson signing the receipt.

what else can i rant about... um i'll get back to this thread but man is this year a let down.

Agree with this, very rare to find a confident good looking guy who isn't arrogant. He also speaks a lot of sense, listens to other people and gets his points across well without being loud and obnoxious.
