O2 Academy Street Team - Is it worth it?
So I've been looking for a paid job for a while before I go to university so that I can help pay for stuff when I get to university. However, I've had no luck. I'm currently working in the British Heart Foundation's local charity shop on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, but I've been considering signing up to the O2 Academy Street Team in Liverpool.

It could be really good to add onto my CV - it's even more work experience, and it's in something different which excites me. I know it's not exactly the most musical job ever, but it's something music-related so it could be fun for me. Can't turn down gig tickets either

However, I have the feeling this ain't all it's cracked up to be, especially since it involves stuff like handing out leaflets, which I'm not too bothered about depending on how long I'll be there.

So has anyone ever joined the O2 Academy Street Team? If so, is it worth it, in terms of stuff like experience, job satisfaction, gig tickets, etc?

I want to know this too - if anyone gets round to replying, I'd be grateful.
