****ing terrible defending. How can you not have a man on the post? That pathetic amateurism could well cost us our place in the top four. Maddening. Infuriating.

It doesn't matter too much, the games against newcastle and arsenal are the most important wins that we need tbh. Fulham away was always going to be tough. We need to step it up a bit though. Our defending was pretty good until the barrage of corners. Still think we could have got 3 points, but a point was deserved tbh.

Should have put a man on the post and putting 11 men behind the ball during a corner won't work if they're not in the right positions. That was a sloppy goal to concede.

    Hope is not lost however.

We need to make a couple of really inspired signings in summer if we want to challenge for the premiership again. Someone in the ilk of Robben for the left wing and an alternative for Mata to play in the creative role in the middle imo. Otherwise we'll remain floating around the bottom of the top 4 for the foreseeable future.

how come people on here seem to think ramires has been one of our best midfielders? every time ive seen him play, hes been poor. doesnt seem to have the skill to do anything with the ball apart from run with it. or without it.

Typical, failing to take opportunities to go ahead in the league. Wouldn't be surprised if we end up 6th tbh.

Fulhammmm. Dempsey was 9/1 to score next as well. :\

Spurs will drop more points though tbh, they look average atm. Then again you've just been scraping 3pts for the last few games so the fight for 4th will probably go down to the wire. :beard:

(Spurs) Our next league fixtures are:

    QPR, Blackburn, Bolton, Villa.

    I think we'll be ok.

Been played out of his natural position recently so he's been pretty poor. He has energy and pace, something our team lacks. Technically he isn't the best however in terms of passing or crossing, he should only play on the wing if he's being used as a park ji sung role tbh. He's a terrible winger. He's a bit like milner for me. A workhorse, may not be the best at passing, but he's good at what he does.

Ramires was the worst Chelsea player on the pitch today; no contest.

oh this is so frustrating.. what a chance to be 4th and Chelsea didn't exactly go for it..

Let's hope in the next games the other teams lose points and Chelsea gain some.. or you know just win the champions league and we will forgive them, haha.

You lost to Norwich at home, whilst those four are all relegation battlers (if you choose to count Villa in).

You say that, but then all 4 are scrapping for their lives. Those teams are more tricky opponents than the likes of Liverpool, Everton or Sunderland, and it's exactly the sort of attitude that lost you three points this afternoon.

Did you watch the Benfica or Napoli ties? Or the rest of the season for that matter? He's the only one in our midfield that offers something different. VERY harsh to criticise him like that after a couple of poor performances.

    they all are
relegation battlers:lol: they won't just roll over..

from now on every game is a battle, and Wenger above of all knows it well.

"You have to deal now with a team that will fight not to go down so it will demand the same commitment. Wolves will fight for their survival and are dangerous as well."

Chelsea's next 7 fixtures are within a timespan of 20 days and are

    Spuds(N)
    Barca(H)
    Arsenal(A)
    Barca(A)
    QPR (H)
    N'castle (H)
    Liverpool (A)

RDM is gonna need a miracle to qualify for CL if he doesn't win it...

One positive thing to take out of tonight's match: Ryan Bertrand.
