Us and inter would be favourites. But in europa league, the favourites never win the europa league.
Inter Milan are in the Europa League?

    Newcastle Inter :sogood:
    Spoiler:
    Show
    If not the Champions League

    Wow. :lolwut:

I swear every other league takes that competition really seriously apart from the premier league though.

With the striker option, who thinks that edin dzeko would be a good option? Could get him for 20 million if drogba leaves and he's tall and can be a good target man.

The italians don't take it very seriously either. It's just the spanish and the portuguese who do very well in the competition and the odd wild cards who usually are in the CL like shaktar or zenit.

Inter have to win, and hope udinese concede ten goals to be in the CL and that neither lazio or napoli win their next match.

I'll have piazon and blackman over malouda and turnbull anyday, blackman can actually kick a ball properly.

Seconded. I really hope Piazon lives up to his billing...even half of his billing.

Yeah, haven't watched much of feruz but he had no service today but when he actually got a glimpse he had an eye for goal, chalobah was much more assured when he switched to a centre back today.

Piazon is a handful, good at dribbling, got good awareness and from what I've seen his short passing has improved from when he was at sao paolo.

The last time Atletico won the Europa League, Bayern lost the Champions League final and Blackpool gained promotion at Wembley

If we had one Rooney or Wilshere coming through for every youth cup we won we'd be doing well, or even every 5 years.

Well you had Terry (albeit a while ago) and now Bertrand and McEachran, but it hasn't really been helped by the desire by Abramovich of instant success, meaning previous managers haven't really had time to blend in any youth players. :dontknow:

It's meant that a lot of your youngsters have had to move elsewhere (like Töre/Rajkovic to Hamburg or Stoch to Fenerbahçe), although you still have a lot of hot prospects out on loan or in your reserves - van Aanholt, Bruma, Chalobah, Piazon...

Rooney was not a product of Manchester United.
