Re: my god..... FERNANDO TORRRESSSSS! IS BACK
I'm delighted for him. He has struggled.
Sturridge really needs to sort himself out. Excellent player, but the most selfish player I have ever seen. Torres was screaming at him at the first half, and he hardly ever shows his frustration. Could be such a good player if he looked for the pass in good positions instead of keeping his head down all the time. -
Re: my god..... FERNANDO TORRRESSSSS! IS BACKAbsolutely this. I counted at least 3 occasions in that match where Torres was more or less wide open and Sturridge tried to take on the keeper and at least one more defender...(Original post by Yawn-er)

Chelsea's man-of-the-match Fernando Torres: "I needed those goals I worked really hard for them. I'm feeling much better." #bbcfootball
I'm so so so pleased for him! He looked a different player out there! That shot he took without hesitation after the first goal was
Finally the return of Fernando Torres? Torres to score the winner against City

Re: my god..... FERNANDO TORRRESSSSS! IS BACKSo he scored two against our defence, which was breached easily by John Stead a couple of weeks ago, and when our defence was AWOL for nigh on 90 minutes. Top work, top work

Re: The Chelsea F.C. Thread IIIShows how likable he is that even other non Chelsea fans want him to succeed. I must admit that when he scored 2 i was so happy since hes my favorite player and seeing him struggle so much has been awful. Hopefully he can build on it against City and score or put in another decent shift(Original post by silver0)
TORRES TORRES TORRES! 2 goals and 2 assists, damn I'm so happy for him, he looked like the happiest man alive when he scored
and I loved how much support he got from the fans, ah I just love him.

Re: The Chelsea F.C. Thread IIIHe's my favourite player too, even when he was at Liverpool. And I'm usually not that bothered that he doesn't score, because he always plays well anyway, but I'm so happy that he did score, and i hope there's more goals to come to boost his confidence, improve Chelsea, and make the haters shut up a bit..(Original post by johnharris19944)

Re: The Chelsea F.C. Thread IIIWith City loosing their Europa game and their away game against Swansea, I think you guys definitely have the form and motivation to cause them some problems. However, their desire to narrow the four point game between United in PL will be constant throughout the match, I just hope your defence will cope to be honest. If Torres scores the winner against them on Wednesday and gives us some breathing space then I will love him forever(Original post by johnharris19944)

Re: The Chelsea F.C. Thread IIII don't think people hate him, it's more to do with them loving how much Chelsea paid for an off-form striker. But hopefully he continues to build his credentials on the foundations he has placed recently, and perhaps he will play like someone who is worth £50 millions pounds (though it will take a lot of consistency in his football to deseve such a merit).(Original post by silver0)

Re: The Chelsea F.C. Thread IIIMet him when he came to Singapore and he seemed like a really nice person. Been wanting him to come to Barcelona(my team) cause i think they surely would have been able to get him firing? He just needs to keep trying his best the goals will come(Original post by silver0)
