    Just heard this from lukaku.
    http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...at-Villas-Boas
Not quite sure what he means by 'weird' with regard to the way Villas-Boas talked to or treated him, but I would point out that it's not uncommon practice to give a young striker some time on the wings - Wenger's done it before in games, let alone training. It might just be that Villas-Boas was especially bad at man-management, but if I was a Chelsea fan, I'd keep an eye on Lukaku's attitude as well - particularly given how hyped and held up he was prior to moving to you guys. :holmes:

The only game I can remember him playing was against Arsenal at home, and I don't think he was brilliant.

To be honest we can sort out lukaku's attitude, he's far from balotelli and even then we have a team of ego's and an old guard who can whip him into shape. It's far from man city style where the player will head off to argentina to play golf for six months  and another player will go to milan to interrupt a press conference.

The old guard like lampard or drogba having a bad attitude is more worrying, as they have power in the club and it will show on the field. I get it with lukaku playing on the wings, but seeing how anelka, kalou and alex were treated(at a time where we needed them) I understand lukaku's frustration.

He did help in the build up to the mata goal against arsenal(unintentionally and he was poor that game anyway) while he basically destroyed blackburn in the first half of the final game of the season.

Hahaha that made me laugh when he unintentionally set up Mata. That's very true, I'd like to see more integration of our youth next season (Him, Piazon, McEachran, Chalobah) are all very good prospects.

Oh please. Btw there's no "we", Chelsea have "given him the opportunity" As much as you like to think you are part of the club, you're not. You're just a supporter mate, like the rest of us, and you're wrong if you think you have even a minuscule influence on how that club functions. Those days are gone.

What Torres is upset about is that he is not playing the role which he was promised in the contract he signed. It really is that simple. players fall out of favour all the time when there's a manager change but I understand where he's coming from and I think it's fair of him to voice his personal concerns. There were very specific reasons that he came to chelsea- He feels he's at the peak of his career, and he wants to play regularly in a top European team, playing in the biggest games, and win trophies. There's nothing devious about that, that is simply what the two parties agreed on before he signed.

Anyways, I think Drogs is off so Torres will get the main role.
Bull****, he played the same role under ancelotti as he has under villas boas and di matteo. He hasn't delivered the goods that we signed him for 50 million, what do you expect?

Anyway it was taken out of context again, but torres should know that that's how it is in england, the english media will twist anything, but still that's how it is, you don't deliver week in week out, you won't be on the team sheet when a player more deserving of it is challenging for the spot.

Piazon can stay in the reserves while we play him every few games, he doesn't need a loan, McEachran needs to be loaned out quick time. Chalobah can stay in the reserves/under 18's for another year and get the odd carling cup appearance against a minnow in league 1 or something.

I just hope we manage them properly else it will be a waste.

Would love to see more Lukaku and Romeu next season. Both quality long term prospects I reckon

He played the whole game against Fulham (Carling Cup) and was a marginal threat.

You expect me to address the club in the third person despite being our own thread? You think Liverpool and Arsenal fans do that with their own clubs? You're speaking to a CPO shareholder though. Have a good day.

Oh damn you're a CPO shareholder, nice, how do you feel about the new stadium plans? I've heard that we might just relocate and then give the shares back to the CPO guys. Oh and that guy you quoted just got domed, nice work man.

Apparently Torres gave that interview in spanish, and refused to talk to the english press because he blames them for his situation

can you please tell me why the cpo blocked roman from buying the stadium earlier this year? wouldnt you rather move to a new stadium (eg proposed battersea) with arsenalish capacity?

We can use "WE" in the Chelsea thread. We are part of Chelsea and we need the club and the clubs needs it fans!

Seeing on twitter that Drogba has decided too leave, that would be a great shame in my opinion, it would be a shame to lose someone who has been fantastic for this club and who has played such a major part in our FA Cup and CL double.

It's on SkySports now. Didier Drogba will be leaving the club

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...-leave-Chelsea

Wow, knew it might have been coming but it doesn't hit you until you actually read it. I really hope it was a mutual decision rather than the club not offering him his contract terms. Anyway, he couldn't have picked a better time to leave Chelsea - winning us the CL and FA cup. True blue legend, wish him all the best wherever he goes.
