That is a terrible unofficial mark scheme in the OP. Does anyone have a proper one that briefly outlines what the question was and has the marks for each question?

Why can't you use silver nitrate? A white precipitate of AgCl would form whereas nothing would happen in the other test tube.
no I meant that I wrote a different acid- usually silver nitrate is acidified with nitric acid and I wrote sulphuric acid- does anyone know if I'd still get the mark?

Hilarious. Though seriously, if you look at unit 2 chemistry and other post exam threads, they have much better unofficial mark schemes than the one in the OP, I'm not just being a dick.

I think because someone uploaded the whole paper so there was no point adding questions and stuff to the mark scheme..

If you look at the other unofficial mark schemes or like chem2 you will see that a Chem teacher made it. This wasn't.

Tell me about it. I'm honestly going to be lucky to get a D in Chem5. I hope it makes the news and the grade boundaries are lowered.

Completley in the same boat as you! Need a B for university at least, but that does really not seem likley! At least the grade boundries are going to go down because of all the bad press this new examiner is getting (hopefully).
